Fuck bitches, get money

FBGMONEY

Could there possibly be a better title for a post about manifesting? I think not (unless my dad reads this, and if so, I am sorry). But listen up girls and boys, as there’s a lesson to be learned in this title. Yes, really.

So what is manifesting aka the law of attraction? From what I understand it’s utilising your mind and energy in a positive way to bring in things and experiences in your life that you really want. Junior M.A.F.I.A (hows that for a rappers name) who rapped ‘fuck bitches, get money’ probably did in fact both fuck bitches and get money. Do you have any doubt he did? I do not. He probably actually fucked lots of bitches and got lots of money. So how could he do that, compared to someone else who wanted to fuck lots of bitches and get lots of money but is actually broke as fuck and hasn’t been laid in 6 months? He would have used the law of attraction, without even knowing it.

I’ll get onto steps for manifesting below, but bear with me for a moment while I recap on my week, will you?

I had an extremely productive week which consisted of getting clear on what I want in life and planning yearly, 6-monthly, weekly and daily goals, and smashed out quite a bit of ‘work’ related stuff. I did, however, start the week off on a procrastination spree, to the point where I actually procrastinated by watching a video on procrastination and procrastinated by talking to people about procrastination (Am I crazy? Probably yes).

Here’s what I learned, which is part of manifesting anyway!

    • My morning routine is KEY. Gratitude, meditation and now also making my bed, writing a to-do list of the top 3-5 things I want to achieve that day – and doing whatever I can to bring in the feel-good-feels sets my day up for happiness and productivity. I’ve also just started studying the metaphysical text ‘A Course in Miracles’ which Gabrielle Bernstein who I’ve been learning from teachers, so I read and do the morning lesson in there too.
    • Tim Urbas has a brill TED talk on procrastination. Gabby B shares her spiritual morning rituals here. And Tim Ferris shares his morning routine here. I’ve taken on board his tips of making my bed first thing to get into completing mode, and writing the 3-5 things to do and then focusing and doing the thing you least want to do, as that’s the thing you probably need to do the most. For me this week it was pitching to potential clients (I avoid pitching like crazy as it scares me), but I did it! And it felt good! And now I’m in the pitching zone/mood.
    • Listening to my intuition (inner guide or whatever you called it). I felt really exhausted yesterday as I was going so hard on all things biz related, that I didn’t prioritise presence and my ‘spiritual’ practices. This lead to me not feeling my happiest and fulfilled self (which is my overarching intention). I had a look at why I was doing this. I have a lack mentality when it comes to money which was driving me to do, do, do and now, now, now. I was driven by my fears such as, ’I need to get my own paying client asap’. I wrote down all of my fears for the week – there were loads! including ‘fear I don’t know what I’m doing, ‘fear I’ll never get what I want’, ‘fear I’ll run out of money’ etc – and then choose to use the following affirmation ‘I choose to see love instead of this. I turn my fears over to my inner guide. Everything is coming to be in the perfect time and space sequence. I have everything I need right now. I am completely happy and content right now in this very money, and in this very day, nothing is lacking’.
    • Doing things that make me feel good and focusing on my ‘spiritual’ practice is nonnegotiable. If I want to be deeply happy and fulfilled I need to practice daily. It’s not enough to do it for a few days or weeks and then feel ‘I’ve made it’. There is no end goal. This is a lifelong practice for me and I know the more I do it, the better I feel – which is the number one key to getting what you want in life. So today, I’ve deleted my to-do list am going to write this then head to the beach.

So how to get what you want in life? Here are a few quick steps from what I’ve learned so far, which will of course change and expand as I learn more (omg I love learning). This is taken from various places but the key steps from Vienna Maria’s 7-day manifesting course – it’s free!.

1.Step one (the clarity stuff): Get clear on what you want

It seems like this is actually quite often where people struggle. Including myself last year where I wasn’t quite sure on what I wanted, so instead of consciously creating life’s experiences, I was reacting to them as I went – urgh, never doing that again! You can’t get your dream job, relationship, career, finances, travel experiences etc if you don’t really know what it is that you want. It’s most likely that the majority of things you do have in your life right now actually came from a decision that you wanted them. For example – your degree, current job, and current finances.

I’ve broken down my life into sections with what I want longterm, but also what I want now. For example, if I woke up today with my dream career, relationship and money I’d totally freak out and not know wtf to do! Plus, I really believe the joy is in the journey. If I already had everything I wanted, what more would there be to learn, to experience, to grow from, to enjoy?

Sections could be: career, lifestyle, health and well-being, relationships, sexuality, money, spirituality, travel, community etc – however, you decided to ‘break up’ your life into segments. Or just choose one for now – for example, my priority one at the moment is ‘feeling energised and full of vitality with boundless energy every day’.

Note: It doesn’t have to make sense and DREAM BIG. As Tim Ferris said ‘realistic goals are so uninspiring’ – they are. You want a deep and dreamy love story relationship – amazing! Write it down. You want to be the next Richard Branson – omg love it! Write it down. You want to have 20 orgasms in a row – omg same! Write it down.

2. Step two (the life-changing stuff): identify your fears and blocks, and remove them

This is key, key, key. You won’t be able to get what you want if you don’t look into why you haven’t already got it. What are your fears? The first step to releasing your fears is to witness them. To acknowledge them. To know what the fuck they actually are. And then, to accept them. Turn them over to your intuition (or inner guide or whatever). As you look into this you’ll probably find fears that you didn’t even know you had but were blocking you. Vienda suggests imaging how what you want (i.e. having x extra money) will affect other parts of your life. She suggests asking yourself ‘how will this one change make you feel in other areas of your life’.

For example, I have loads of fear around money and ‘not having enough to live the life I want’ – which has stopped me from doing and experiencing so many things – and all the things I really deeply want, such as traveling the world.

You can’t get what you want if you’re still held back by fear. Release the fears by acknowledging them.

3. Step three (my favourite step! the good feels stuff): Zone in on how you want to feel and ask what you want

Why do you want more money? Is it to feel free, powerful and successful? How do you want to feel?

I’m basing all goals and what I want on how I want to feel. Danielle La Porte’s The Desire Map shows you how to do this. 125k copies have been sold in multiple languages, but you can get it free here. But if you can’t be fucked reading it, just simply pick your core desired feelings for the year ahead. For me, this year I want to feel: freedom (priority!), presence (absolute key to happiness), gratitude (makes me feel SO good), balance and wonder. Everything I do with a goal in mind to feel those ways. And ever since I decided that I wanted to feel those ways, I have been.

Also, be open to the best possible outcome. You want your dream job but you don’t know what it is? Focus on how you want it to make you feel – which shows you why you want what you want.

4. Step four (the chill and just be stuff): Let go and trust

As Vienda says, ‘release expectations and let go of the outcome.’ Gabby talks about how to get into action and doing things without expectation here. If you expect something while you strive towards it, it’s like your fear based thinking will set in – which it did for me this week – which won’t get you what you want. Trust everything is coming to you when you need it and when you’re ready for it. Because it really truly is.

The key here is to be present. And THIS is where life is! You don’t want to be always striving to X and then when you ‘get there’ you realise you ‘wasted’ or missed x days, weeks months or years. No no no no no. That’s no way to live.

ALL happiness and everything you want is here right now. Tap into that through meditation, deep breathing or just paying full attention to your surroundings. And know that, all the other good dreamy stuff you want is on it’s way to you. Eckhart Tolle has a free 7-day morning and evening meditation series titled ‘deepening into stillness’ here

If you do this, it will also come to you faster (winning!).

5. Step five (the appreciation stuff): Be grateful

Being grateful for what you do have right now. Really feel it.

For example I really want to be location independent so I can live a lifestyle of freedom, flexibility, and travel. This week my fears kicked in around money. So today I’m focusing on gratitude and also realising I am already living that lifestyle! I’m grateful for the money I have in 3 different bank accounts that came to me effortlessly, for the cash on the kitchen bench, for the money I’ve earned in the last few weeks without having really having to do much (house and pet sit, work on a project that I loved). I am SO grateful to all of the money I currently have. Feeling abundant in what you currently have will bring more of it to you, and with joy and ease.

I started watching Gabby’s ‘super attractor” (aka law of attraction) workshop and she reminded the audience: ‘the more I allow the more I receive’, and ‘the better you feel, the more you allow’.

To really get what you want, feel how it would feel if you already had it. Act like you already have it. I’ve used all of these techniques on ‘sorting out’ my health problems on chronic fatigue and it’s really worked for me. In the morning when I wake up physically exhausted, I tap into feeling energised. I tune into feeling what it would feel like to have boundless energy. This has really honestly worked. With being location independent and earning an income online, I act like I already am and have that. I’ve been going to cafes and working there. I’ve been living the life I want to live. I’ve received some money, and I know I will receive more. Basically, I’m living my life the way I want to today, and every day – as I know everything else will come to me when I’m ready.

6. Step six (the doing stuff): Take inspired action

This means doing things that feel good to you when you feel like doing them. No push, no grind. Tune into your feelings. You feel like doing x now? Do it.

The path here is of least resistance and of fun. Fun is priority people! For example, I’ve actually had loads of fun learning and ‘working’ this week. Follow the path of less resistance. Tune into what you’re drawn to today, this week, this month, this year – and do that.

If there’s something you need to do but don’t feel in alignment. First, know it’s super normal to get out of alignment. Even spiritual teachers and life coaches get out of alignment. The key is knowing how to get back into alignment as fast as possible. As you will not get what you want if you are basing things on negative feelings. When you feel good, everything is easier and it will come to you faster.

Getting into alignment tips: forgive yourself, slow down the momentum, focus on the breath, talk about gratitude, help someone, talk to someone, have an ‘appreciation rant’ (I so appreciate x,x,x,x,x,x, etc currently in my life – start with the small things – this day, the sun, this meal, these shoes, this phone call with a friend, this nature, this train, this car etc).

ONLY take aligned (what feels good for you) action. If you don’t feel aligned – get back into alignment first.

7. Step seven (the fun stuff): Receive!

People struggle with receiving and sometimes don’t even know how to. You deserve to receive. Start by receiving on a daily basis – if someone offers you something you want (a ride, to buy you a coffee, to help with a project) say YES with gratitude.

So there you go, 7 steps to how to get whatever the fuck you want. In honor of being completely transparent, authentic and vulnerable – I write these blog blogs to help me summarise what I’m learning and to bring them to life for me. I’ve found once I’ve written them, they then sink into my behavior as a new norm. However, I am also practicing giving for the sake of giving. In all areas of my life including business and relationships.

So if anyone reads this, I hope it serves you.

Now I’m off to the beach to tap into my feel-good-feels to bring me money, sex, and energy.

With love, money, sex, and energy,

Rhea
